EIGER unfolds, outgrowing constancy and repetition. In the crescendo of a geometric progression with a factor of 1.09 the shelves increase in height and depth as you move downwards. The lowest shelf, close to the floor, reaches an internal height of 35.5 cm and offers space even for generously sized formats.
The EIGER bookshelf is available in widths in 22 cm increments, enabling it to adapt to any interior situation. On request, we are also happy to realize custom sizes ranging from 46 cm narrow to 354 cm wide. An Eiger north face.
Eleven cross-laminated layers of birch plywood, visually reminiscent of the iconic Manner biscuit, result in an extremely robust load-carrying structure: the shelf can be fully loaded without any hesitation. The EIGER bookshelf is manufactured locally in Untergroßau and Graz.
Remarkably, the EIGER bookshelf consists of just a few simple components. Vertical and horizontal slats slot into one another, the joints are secured with small screws, and the piece is fixed to the wall. All mounting hardware and instructions are included in the package. The bookshelf can be taken apart again in a few simple steps and easily reassembled in a new location. You can download the assembly instructions here and look through them in advance:

Beautiful bookshelf
Beautiful bookshelf! It has given a purpose to an empty wall that is otherwise too small for other furniture or decorations. Now I have a useful space where I can not only play creatively with the colors of my books, but also add different smaller decoration items such as plants and table lights. It has given me the freedom to decorate how I want and as many times as I want. Even in seasonal themes.
Floating Lightness
In their inspiring immensity and despite ideal and real weight, books on these bookshelves seem to literally float and present themselves aesthetically in a lightness – multifaceted and not merely by their spines – that affects the entire room. Design (being) can be so subtly beautiful.
