Martin Breuer-Bono
holds a Master‘s Degree in MechEng/BA from the Technische Universität Wien and a MDes Degree from the Royal College of Art, London. Apart from formalaesthetic considerations his work is focused on conceptional contents incorporating very much of a minimalistic approach.
His products are loaded with a highly articulated aesthetical claim and try to carry ahead the design discipline itself. In the past years Martin worked on several self-initiated projects for outstanding pieces of furniture, tableware and household items. They are manufactured in small batches by selected local craftsmen and internationally marketed under the label BREUER BONO. The three bookcases SCHLAGSEITE, PERSONA and PENTHAUS were presented at the IMM Cologne 2016, in 2018 three new products will be launched. The constantly growing network of excellently positioned retail partners mirrors an encouraging development. Martins work recurrently hovers over the poles meaning and relevance, simplicity and manifestation, limitation and depth. His projects won prestigious international design and innovation prizes, his work was on display in numerous countries.
Martin lives and works in Graz, Austria.
